Chamber Talk is the new Internet Radio show hosted by GPBCC President/CEO Cody Williams and provided on Cactus Internet Radio. Chamber Talk is our opportunity to talk about any and everything. Whether it is information regarding business development opportunities or political issues like a new tax or some issue that might affect small business. We want to talk about the issues that business persons will find useful.

City of Phoenix Chief of Police Jack Harris Addresses the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce

In a detailed presentation, Jack Harris, the new Chief of Police for Phoenix Arizona, addressed the recent September morning networking breakfast of the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce (http://www.gpbcc.org) sponsored by Arizona Public Service. The monthly networking breakfast is hosted by the Chamber as an opportunity for the members to network with each other and for the Chamber leadership to commune with members.

In his remarks, the Chief discussed a variety of subjects important to minority businesses including:

1. The need of the police department for services from small business.
2. Several examples of services needed used by the Department.
3. Examples on how to and how not to do business with the Department

August Chamber Talk:


Mayor Phil Gordon of Phoenix addresses the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce.

In a wide ranging speech, Phil Gordon the Mayor of Phoenix Arizona addressed the recent July morning networking breakfast of the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce (http://www.gpbcc.org). The monthly networking breakfast is hosted by the Chamber as an opportunity for the members to network with each other and for the Chamber leadership to commune with members.

In his remarks, the Mayor touched on a variety of subjects important to minority businesses including:

1. The importance of a diverse small business community.
2. The focus of the Mayorıs office on growing and developing local small businesses.
3. A new Mayorıs initiative to foster small businesses in Phoenix.
